Located on the point where the Elk River and the Chesapeake Bay converge, there is a variety of wildlife to see, trails to explore, beaches to swim at and more. The Turkey Point Light house is a can’t miss, with a rich history and an easy ride or hike with sweeping views of the water.

Turkey Point Lighthouse Trail
This trail is a crowd favorite with incredible views of the Elk River and Chesapeake Bay converge. Access these views by hiking or biking this lovely, beginner friendly trail.
Paddle Rouges Harbor
The views of this state park are just as good from the water. Paddle the Elk River and see beautiful beaches, cliffs, and wildlife. Plus, self-serve fin rentals are available on site
White Banks Trail
This trail is for the hiker looking for a more challenging hike with forest, beach, and river views.
