Lums Pond is the largest freshwater pond in Delaware, once used to help fill the locks of the C&D Canal.
Now, you can traverse the entire pond by foot, bike, or even horse on 17 miles of trails. Or, if water travel is more your style, explore the park from the pond itself. There are tons of nooks and crannies to spot wildlife or reel in your next catch.

Know before you go:
This park has something for everyone and all trails and paddling are excellent for beginners. Just a heads up, park entry fees are applicable for part of the year with all DE state parks.
